In April 1898, Buffalo Bill Cody made a recording called “Sentiments on the Cuban Question.” It isn’t the easiest recording to hear every word, but the tone and cadence of his voice are quite remarkable. Take a listen.

His voice matches with my expectation of what it would sound like, given his image presented. It’s nice to hear a voice from our American past. An important part of who and what we are, today. God blesses America! :0)

I honestly never thought about how I expected him to sound, but I have to agree! Given his stature and commanding presence, meeting him in person must have been an unforgettable experience.
