Piano, voice and theory lessons are given at my studio in west-central Illinois. I’ve had the privilege of teaching the joy of making music to hundreds of children and adults. Visit the Our Story page to read what students and colleagues are saying. On the My Story page, you can read more about my background.
There is an annual recital, and smaller studio performances. While participation in recitals is encouraged, it is never required. These performances give you a great way to assess your (or your child’s) progress and are great confidence builders. There are never added recital participation or admission fees. You are welcome and encouraged to invite family and friends to attend.
All students enroll on a month-to-month basis, with the tuition due at the first lesson of the month. Depending on which day of the week you have your lesson, it is possible that three or four times each year you will have five lessons in a month. No lessons are given on New Year’s Day, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Eve through New Year’s Eve. There are no ‘make up lessons’, but you will receive credit for any lesson I am unable to teach due to illness, personal emergency or vacation.
